CPR, First Aid, and BLS Classes Available Now

The Sidney-Shelby County Health Department offers three types of classes through the American Heart Association:

• Heartsaver CPR/AED 
• • This course trains participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
• Heartsaver First Aid
  • This course trains participants to provide first aid in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
• BLS Healthcare Providers – This course is designed for healthcare professionals and others who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and pre-hospital settings

BLS courses will be offered the second Thursday of every quarter at 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Next Date for Heartsaver CPR/AED and Heartsaver First Aid Training: October 15, 2026

 Additional times for groups or organizations may be available by request.
